When two friends are found dead at the dinner table, police investigate every angle.

The bodies of 69-year-old Lucien Perot and his friend, 38-year-old Olivier Boudin, were found on the 3rd of August 2017. They were seated at the dinner table, seemingly enjoying a meal together, and then just suddenly… died.

Authorities first suspected food poisoning, but nothing was found to indicate this to be the case. During the investigation, police searched for any known enemies or anyone who would want to harm the men but could find nothing.

It wouldn’t be long before their real cause of death came to light.

Rumors circulated the French village of Authon-du-Perche when two men inexplicably died while enjoying a nice dinner outside together. Had someone murdered them? Did one kill the other and then himself? Was there something fatal about the food?

The neighborhood was gripped by the mysterious circumstances surrounding the deaths. Many began to speculate that the food had been poisoned by someone. Their dinner was sent in and analyzed by the Pasteur Institute in Paris. To the public’s dismay, nothing toxic was found.

Olivier Boudin was discovered laying face up on the ground. Lucien Perot was slumped…
